For the academic year 2021-2022 IOSUD – UTCB organizes admission to the program of Doctoral Studies (SUD) for the following doctoral fields:

For the academic year 2022-2023 IOSUD – UTCB applied to the Ministry of National Education for the following numbers of places:

The admission to SUD complies with the limit of places annually allocated either by the Ministry of National Education, for the doctoral studies financed from the state budget as doctoral grants, or by IOSUD – UTCB for the doctoral studies on tuition fee.

Theg raduates from Master programs completed in Romania or whose Master degree has been validated in Romania are entitled to participate in the competition for the admission to doctoral studies. The candidates (Romanian citizens and EU citizens) who have completed their studies abroad shall present a diploma validation certificate issued by the National Centre for Equivalence and Recognition of Diplomas (CNRED), within the Ministry of National Education. After obtaining the certificate, the committee for the validation of studies within UTCB shall equate the grades, in order to allow the registration for doctoral studies.

According to the legal provisions in force, the following categories of people may participate in the competition for the admission to doctoral studies: – Romanian citizens; – foreign citizens, as follows: Romanian ethnics from the EU and non-EU states (Romanians abroad), citizens of the EU member states and of the European Economic Area, as well as citizens of the Swiss Confederation and citizens from other areas than the abovementioned ones.

The citizens of the EU member states and of the European Economic Area, as well as the citizens of the Swiss Confederation may participate in the competition for the admission to doctoral studies under the same legal provisions as the Romanian citizens, including the issue regarding the tuition fees. For the citizens who do not belong to these states, but choose to study at UTCB at their own expense, the tax of registration for doctoral studies is established by OG no. 22/2009.

The foreign citizens who do not belong to the EU member states, the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation shall present a study file to the Ministry of National Education – the Department of International Relations, in order to have the acceptance letter issued, according to the provisions of art. 45 paragraph (2) letter a) from the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 194/2002 regarding the regime of foreigners in Romania. The files shall be sent by UTCB to the Ministry in a centralized manner. The final decision for the registration of these foreign citizens shall be issued by UTCB only after they pass the competition for admission to doctoral studies and receive written approval from the Ministry of National Education.

The admission to Doctoral Studies in IOSUD – UTCB is organized in 2019 according to the following calendar:

Note: The language competence test for the candidates enrolled in the second session will be held in the admission session of 2023-2024.
