INNOCONSTRUCT Hackathon
The use of BIM methodology in the modernization of a building within the UTCB-Tei campus
Dear PhD students,
We invite you to participate in an exciting and challenging event – the hackathon “Using BIM Methodology in the Modernization of UTCB-Tei Campus Buildings”. This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate your skills and creativity in BIM, the basis for the development of Digital Twin models, and to contribute to the modernization of the UTCB campus buildings during the event INNOCONSTRUCT 2024, under the aegis of the EU-CONEXUS ENABLES.
About the Hackathon: In this hackathon, you will have the opportunity to work in teams to create 3D models and apply dimensionality to information according to BIM standards and guidelines. The goal is to provide UTCB with an information model to facilitate building energy efficiency calculations, project management and construction quality assurance.

- Date: May 29-30, 2024
- Location: Conference Center UTCB
- Prize: The winning team will receive a €1000 prize
Entry Requirements:
- The hackathon is open to UTCB students (bachelor, master and PhD students) with knowledge and skills of modeling in a BIM Authoring software.
- For the architecture discipline, students from UAUIM will be invited to participate.
How to Register: To sign up, fill out the Hackathon – Registration form by May 21.
Other Information:
- A familiarization session with the CDE platform will be organized before the hackathon.
- The information model created by the teams will be evaluated by a jury based on criteria such as the quality of information containers, interoperability and innovation.
