Excellence in Education and Research Awards Gala at UTCB
Bucharest, November 30, 2016
On Monday, December 12, 2016, from 16:00, at the Bd. Lacul Tei nr.122-124, sector 2, the Technical University of Constructions Bucharest (UTCB) organizes with the support of the Federation of Employers’ Associations of Construction Companies (FPSC) “Awards for Excellence in Education and Research at UTCB”. The event will take place in Amphitheater 1.2 of the Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions.
Starting from the social dimension of higher education and the need of the society to benefit from quality educational and research services in the field of construction for its sustainable development, the fundamental mission of the Technical University of Construction Bucharest is to be a national center for training new generations of specialists and performing scientific research in the fields of construction, seismic protection, seismic protection, construction of communication routes, installations, construction machinery, land surveying, environmental protection, urban engineering and others.
The construction industry is the main beneficiary of UTCB’s educational and research processes and that is why the link with the business environment – where most of the University graduates will apply their acquired knowledge and research will show its fruits – is extremely important for the training of specialists, respecting the requirements for insertion on the labor market.
The event will be attended by academics, students, business people, media.
