under the aegis of the EU CONEXUS consortium . Participation of UTCB doctoral students in DSC is free.
We invite you to submit papers for DSC 2023! We remind you that you can access the works of the last two previous editions, which have been published here.

Section: Current Ethical Challenges in Research and Higher Education – October 25 2023The Research Center in Applied Ethics (CCEA) is organizing the section Current ethical challenges in research and higher education, which will take place in physical format on October 25, 2023, within the Doctoral School Conference of the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest.
The event is addressed to students, teachers and researchers interested in applied ethics, ethics and academic deontology, integrity in conduct and research, ethics of translation, as well as other related research topics.

6th Conference of the UTCB Doctoral School The aim of the the DSC 2023 conference is to bring together doctoral students and their scientific advisors from the Technical University of Civil Engineering and from the EU CONEXUS Consortium, to get to know each other better and to become aware of their presence as a research community. This event is intended to be a good exercise for the doctoral students, who will have the opportunity to present their papers in front of their colleagues and professors, in English.
Submission GuidelinesPapers must be original, scientifically relevant, and with content clearness. Previously published papers will not be accepted. The final paper is required to be sent until October 1st, 2023, here: Submission link
Accepted papers will be published in Romanian Journal of Civil Engineering. A selection of papers will be proposed for the International Journal of Sustainable Energy.

Please follow these essential guidelines when preparing your paper:
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Conference Topics:
The Program Committee will review all the papers. The authors will be notified of their paper evaluation on the 10th of October 2023. The final paper delivery, with the required revisions, must be submitted by the 15th of October 2023.
The Scientific Committee holds the right to request the revision of the paper if it lacks adequate quality and rigor. All the papers will be evaluated by at least three members of the Scientific Committee. The revision will be accomplished by blind peer-review, to guarantee rigor and impartiality of the evaluation. Selected papers must be presented at the conference in English.
