Dear PhD students,
The 5th edition of the Doctoral School Conference will take place on October 17, 2022, together with the EENVIRO 2022 Conference 
under the aegis of the EU CONEXUS consortium in the form of an EU CONEXUS doctoral students’ day, at the opening of the EENVIRO conference. The participation of UTCB doctoral students in DSC and EENVIRO is free. Registration for the conference can be done here: https://www.eenviro.ro/registration-2/
We invite you to submit papers for DSC 2022! We remind you that you can access the papers of the two previous editions, which were published here.
The official announcement of this year’s conference is given below:
5th Conference of the UTCB Doctoral School The aim of the the DSC 2022 conference is to bring together doctoral students and their scientific advisors from the Technical University of Civil Engineering and from the EU CONEXUS Consortium, to get to know each other better and to become aware of their presence as a research community. This event is intended to be a good exercise for the doctoral students, who will have the opportunity to present their papers in front of their colleagues and professors, in English.
Submission GuidelinesPapers must be original, scientifically relevant, and with content clearness. Previously published papers will not be accepted.
For the first review stage, please mention in the title of the paper, on the Moressier platform form, that you want to register the article at DSC in the following way: Title – DSC2022 section !
Authors must prepare their papers using our Microsoft Word or LaTeX2e templates, and then convert these to PDF format for submission:

Accepted papers
Accepted papers will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science.
The publisher will submit the conference proceeding for evaluation to be indexed to SCOPUS and Clarivate Analytics Conference Proceedings Citation Index – CPCI (ISI Web of Science).

Please follow these essential guidelines when preparing your paper:
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Conference Topics:
The Program Committee will review all the papers. The authors will be notified of their paper evaluation on the 10th of September 2022. The final paper delivery, with the required revisions, must be submitted by the 1st of October 2022.
The Scientific Committee holds the right to request the revision of the paper if it lacks adequate quality and rigor. All the papers will be evaluated by at least three members of the Scientific Committee. The revision will be accomplished by blind peer-review, to guarantee rigor and impartiality of the evaluation. Selected papers must be presented at the conference in English.
