The collective management body of the Doctoral School is the Doctoral School Council. Considering that there is only one Doctoral School within UTCB, the duties and responsibilities of the Council for University Doctoral Studies are taken over by the Doctoral School Council.
The Duties and Responsibilities of the Doctoral School Council Include:
- drafting the Doctoral School Regulations;
- developing and implementing the Doctoral School strategy (General Strategic Plan, Medium-Term Strategic Plan, Annual Implementation Plans);
- fulfilling the Senate’s decisions regarding the Doctoral School;
- periodically analyzing the manner in which activities are carried out within the Doctoral School and taking appropriate measures to increase their efficiency;
- proposing to the UTCB Senate the granting or revocation, as the case may be, of the quality of member of the Doctoral School to doctoral supervisors;
- approving the enrollment and expulsion of doctoral students, at the proposal of the doctoral supervisors, members of the Doctoral School.
