Interdisciplinary collaborative practice-oriented training workshops

3 September 2025

THURSDAY 19.10.2023, 16:00, The Art of Self-Management

In this workshop we explore from different angles who we are as individuals. Most people are struggling to find their purpose in life in a complex and rapidly changing modern world full of uncertainty, volatility and ambiguity.

Through reflective questioning exercises, participants will gain clarity about the individual purpose of each of us and the impact we have, through our contributions, on our lives and on society at large.

Participants will leave the workshop with more clarity about their ‘personal signature’ – a concise statement about impact + purpose, about themselves.

Duration: 3 hours. Physical presence – Room I.I Faculty of Hydrotechnics – registration at nicoleta.draghici@utcb.ro

THURSDAY 9.11.2023, 16:00, Resilience and mental fitness with positive intelligence

The mind is our best friend. But it can also be our greatest enemy. The mind constantly sabotages our potential for performance and happiness. All negative emotions, including stress, are the result of self-sabotage.

This 3-hour workshop is based on the concept of positive intelligence, developed and researched by Professor Shirzad Chamine of Stanford University. Participants can learn about how the mind can sabotage their potential and happiness, and learn about practical tools that can increase the “mental muscles” needed to counteract this self-sabotage.

Duration: 3 hours. Physical presence – Room I.I Faculty of Hydrotechnics – registration at nicoleta.draghici@utcb.ro
