Cea de a 5-a ediție a Conferinței Scolii Doctorale va avea loc online, pe 17 Octombrie 2022 împreuna cu Conferinta EENVIRO 2022
sub egida consortiului EU CONEXUS sub forma unei zile a doctoranzilor EU CONEXUS, în deschiderea conferintei EENVIRO. Participarea doctoranzilor din UTCB la DSC si EENVIRO este gratuita. Inregistrarea la conferinta se poate face aici: https://www.eenviro.ro/registration-2/

5th Conference of the UTCB Doctoral School
under the aegis of EU CONEXUS consortium in a joint event with the 8th edition of EENVIRO Conference, București, Romania, October 17, 2022.
The aim of the the DSC 2022 conference is to bring together doctoral students and their scientific advisors from the Technical University of Civil Engineering and from the EU CONEXUS Consortium, to get to know each other better and to become aware of their presence as a research community. This event is intended to be a good exercise for the doctoral students, who will have the opportunity to present their papers in front of their colleagues and professors, in English.
Submission Guidelines
Submission GuidelinesPapers must be original, scientifically relevant, and with content clearness. Previously published papers will not be accepted.
For the first review stage, please mention in the title of the paper, on the Moressier platform form, that you want to register the article at DSC in the following way: Title – DSC2022 section !
Authors must prepare their papers using our Microsoft Word or LaTeX2e templates, and then convert these to PDF format for submission:

Morressier platform was recommended by the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science in order to speed up the publication process.
Accepted papers
Accepted papers will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science.
The publisher will submit the conference proceeding for evaluation to be indexed to SCOPUS and Clarivate Analytics Conference Proceedings Citation Index – CPCI (ISI Web of Science).
As a summary, please ensure the following:
- Paper size is European A4.
- Margins are 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom).
- The paper includes the author name and affiliation (full address including country).
- There are no page numbers, or headers and footers, within the paper.
- The PDF is free of formatting errors (e.g. corrupt equations, missing or low-resolution figures), since conversion from Word to PDF can introduce formatting errors.
- Text is single spaced, not double spaced.
- The PDF file is editable and not password protected.
- All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
- Reference lists are checked for accuracy. References can only be linked via Crossref if they are correct and complete.
- Figures are placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
- A thorough proofread is conducted to check the standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.
Please follow these essential guidelines when preparing your paper:
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

The Program Committee will review all the papers. The authors will be notified of their paper evaluation on the 10th of September 2022. The final paper delivery, with the required revisions, must be submitted by the 1st of October 2022.
The Scientific Committee holds the right to request the revision of the paper if it lacks adequate quality and rigor. All the papers will be evaluated by at least three members of the Scientific Committee. The revision will be accomplished by blind peer-review, to guarantee rigor and impartiality of the evaluation. Selected papers must be presented at the conference in English.
